A day in the life of me.

A day in the life of me.

Today I woke up to my husband getting ready for work, and as usual he told me go back to sleep and rest while you can.
Later, I got up with my 3rd grader he asked for a ride because it was cold and snowy. I agreed ( while grumbling inside because I was so tired and hurting so bad) only because he had a bruise on his leg from where he fell yesterday when he and his scooter fell on a patch of ice.
My mother in law came to get my 2 1/2 year old because thankfully I have a wonderful mother in law, and she has started taking her on Wednesdays so I can rest up or get things done if I need to.
Today I had to go see my primary care doctor for a check up. I have lost six pounds since he last saw me which was two months ago. This is a good thing for two reasons. 1. I was 199 lbs then, and 2. it means my limited exercise is still working.
For exercise on good days I dance to Wiggles videos with my toddler for as long as I can which is usually three to five songs, and yoga.
Today I was feeling almost normal so I was feeling almost normal and so for exercise I walked very fast around the grocery store. I barely got home, and was regretting having done it. My arms couldn't lift even the lightest bag and my head wanted to explode.
So because it was cold outside I brought in only the refrigerated stuff, and left the other stuff for my 3rd grader to do when he got home. I then proceeded to my bedroom where I attempted to lay down. I say attempted because between the phone ringing and my body hurting a nap was out of the question.
Then I went to get my 3rd grader from school, worked on this blog, returned a phone call, and started dinner.
By the time I finished cleaning up after dinner it was time for my evening and bedtime medicine, and also one of the new Ibuprofen's the primary care doctor agreed to let me have. I told him they had let me have 600 mgs in the hospital when I sprained my foot, and so I thought that is what I would get. Bless that sweet man he prescribed me 800 mgs.
Well, my Xanax is starting to kick in so I will close for now so I can get my kids into bed before I fall asleep at my computer.
                  See you all real soon.
